It's done. Now what?

An even more Americanized Britain, and a weaker EU with a deepened conflict between the nationalist and internationalist. That's what the situation will look like for the foreseeable future in result of the Brexit, which is already a fact since yesterday.
After a few years of exhausting, exasperating debate, and all sorts of backs and forths for UK, the British society remains more split between Brexiters and Remauners than ever. The same division in the British elite was very visible half a century ago as well. Let's face it, it wasn't BoJo who brought the Brexit upon Britain. That was a result of a long process, a trend that had been brewing for quite a while in the British society. In fact, it was in place ever since the UK joined the EU. The same or similar sort of cartoons that we're seeing about Brexit now, were also available back then: a small boat with a guy looking much like the then prime minister at the helm, commanding the rowers, "In! Out! In! Out!" The powdered poodles in Brussels (as I like to call them) failed to notice this back then, and they've failed to realize it now, too.
